SABA Freiburg 400 with aftermarket decoder

      This is a 400 model that has the multiplex socket in it.

      My question is, can I adapt an aftermarket decoder and power supply, to function the same way like a SABA decoder E16?

      Hello Omer,

      Apart from the modern circuit-design there are big differences between the decoders. The "E16" is put in the mpx socket, in the HF-part of the radio, and the kemo-module is completely different thing, that is put in the NF line of the radio.
      So only the in- and output impdance is totally different apart from other values.
      Sorry, that will not work the way you intented...
