New project!! Saba Freiburg 11 - Initial help needed :)

Hi all,

How enthusiatic I am with this amazing radio... It is a real piece of engineering!

Could any of you please help me with the schematics, component drawings, service manual of this radio to start working on it?

I need to replace all the capacitors first, as I turned it on and almost nothing works

I will post some pictures soon. There are a couple of burnt resistors I need to locate in the schematics to know its values.

This coming friday I am supposed to get all the capacitors. I will work over the weekend and maybe also next week and see what happens.

In Europe these radios I guess were very common. There were a lot of great brands like Telefunken, Loewe, Grundig, Metz, Graetz, Tefifon, etc. which produced similar sets in the 50s and 60s with an amazing quality. German radios of that era are for me the best ones ever produced, where every single detail from de design of the cabinets to the engineering of the circuit was carefuly planned. I am an absolute fan of them.
Here there are some, but not too many of course. This set is very special for me.

I wish I could bring it back to life!

with the help of all the experts in here you will bring it back to life. Just do the neccessary work first and give it a try.

By the way, we should close one thread about the Freiburg 11, right now we are running two parallel.
