Hello Achim, It was a lot of work to check all the items on line F and H. I have found open the 1M resistor (R718) on ECL80 grid 1, however its replacement does not fix the problem. All the voltages where inside normal values. The automatic control switches work fine for each direction. The P601 potentiometer has no effect on tuning sensitivity. Dear Members, I need some help to locate in the schematic, the silent function during fast tuning. I am restoring a FB 18 and all the stations can be heard during high speed tuning. The silent function work fine during the few minutes after the radio is powered on. After that, the silent function is lost. thanks in advance, Bruno.

Dear members, I bought a Meersburg WIII on eBay Germany, but the radio arrived with a shock over the tuning knob and the tuning axis was broken. The bass potentiometer arrived broken also. Fortunatelly the skalenscheibe and cabinet arrived in excellent conditions. The MB W3 is a very scarce model here in Chile and I will be very thanked if some member has those parts to sell. thanks in advance, Bruno.

Dear Members, I have a silent FB W3 on the UKW band and I have been watching many comments in the forum analyzing this problem. I have realized differences between at least two schematics for the same model. For example "sch1" shows 16M+16M ad the high resistances and the "sch2" shows 16M+12.5M for the same couple of resistances.... They are many other differences. Dear Frank, It was necessary to apply many times WD-40 to each disc, both sides to remove the "glue" and loose the discs. Then, one oil drop on each side and the manual tuning was possible in both senses. Now I can change the pre set stations and I can enjoy my radio. Thanks again for your help, Bruno.

Hello Frank, Thank you for the replay ... I have oiled the discs according your indication and they can be displaced manually over the shaft however, the manual tuning is possible from right to left and NOT in inverse sense. The manual tuning with motor off run smoothly in both senses. My set has all the disc with the original green paint sealing the disc screws, then I can presume they have the original 320 - 350 gr greetings, Bruno.

Now my TU495FM stereo play fine and the console chassis was accepted by the FD9 cabinet as you correctly said. The radio looks very nice!! Now I have bought here in Chile a Saba Multiplex decoder 12. Really I have received as a gift the TU 495 FM Stereo, the console model, but the big furniture was eaten by worms and only the chassis and speakers were rescued.
