On klang module i have replaced all transistors(2xbc550, 2x549) and capacitors except 220mF40V and now it is working. What exactly was wrong i don't know (capacitors most likely) and on presence module i still have not detect malfunction (but its probably IC-CD4016BE). I have removed the presence module from ground plate and soldered the pins3,4 & 6,7 together, so now i don't have a presence function but everything is working just fine.

I have repaired the receiver. Malfunctions were in klang module and in presence module. The right way to repair this kind of malfunction is to follow the signal path and this is pretty much it. thank you all for help and support. Saba rules. Daniel aus Croatien. P.S. I will try to do better with spelling. It is all true about the signals so it seems that area for error is getting smaller. Thanks again for huge help and good will.

Thanks man. I ment volume control by loudnes control and i do not understand how does volume control actually works the basic priciple on this receiver. Does signal goes to ground or some resistors are eating over the signal when the volume is low, or is it other way around by turning the volume knob the isgnal is getting stronger trough amplificattion in ICs.

Test with outs on "band 1,2" both chanells are same equall quality and intensity in all ins combinations (fm,phono,aux,tapes1,2,)

I have just finshed testing the outs and the situation is just the same like when the speakers are conected on 9240. I have conected (solderd) chinch cable on driver inputs(i have removed driver modules) num.2 and ground to casing and then conected it to the second (pioneer) amp. Left chanal is working fine, right is week and with tremmel in bass area. In mono mode both chanells are working fine. Same in all modes fm/am band1.2,aux. Yes in mono mode both chanells are equally lound and clear.

No man you have missunderstand me i have bought the receiver with error and the previos owner has tried to reapir it him self but he hasnt got a bloody idea what was he doing so i have just tried to suscribe the first condition that might later lead to the resolituion. Further on i have change all three TDA1029 and now situation looks like this" The left chanell is playing great, powerfully (maybe even a bit to strong but i dont know how it is suppose to be) and right is week in all combinations…

You see previos owner my neighbour has been runnig it with only one endstufe. When you whatch the recever from front side the right endstufe was cutt off (the wires from it). So thath may be some clue. And he also has tried to repair it. On left endstufe the resistor R22 was replaced with 22R. I have bought all transistors and 22R resistors and repaird them. The endsutfes and triebers are working fine now but it maybe some new info that can lead to final resolving of trouble.

No i dont have an osciloskop but is there any other way, maybe to mesaure current or resistance through audio channals. Something that i can can do with digital messgerat.

Ok guys english is on. I have been searching for cold connections and made some progress. The stereo on radio reception is repaird . The malfunction was on the stereo modul the pots 901&911 were dirty. So now when radio runs left/right chanell ratio is 1:0.25, for equal loudnes the balance must be on position R4.(I cant wait to resolve all problems the sound is just great.) The situation with in¡s (aux) is the same right channel is ok and left is dead even after i changed the positions betwen 10…

Ich bin zum Beschluss selbst gekommen, dass malfuction auf dem Grundplatte auf dem Signalpfad sein muss. Signalvorampere und Schalter sind 1029. So wissen irgend jemand, wie man 1029 prüft, wenn es von der Steckdose herausgezogen wird? 1029 kann direkt loten auf dem Boden-Ausschuss sein? Ließ irgendjemanden aburteilen, um das zu tun. Ich werde mich konzentrieren, um Probleme mit 1029 aufzulösen, und ich hoffe, dass das die Quelle von Schwierigkeiten ist. Ja und vielen gluck gegen turkei

Bei radio AM ist die dasselbe ding wie bei radio FM.

Danke fur zugunsten. Wann radio (fm taste) ist in betrieb dann rechte kanal spielt und linke spielt nicht (its allfällig nur Geräusche zu horen) und stereo diode ist aus. Wann aux ist in betreib dann linke kanal spielt , recht funktionert nicht. In mono mode ist alles ok. My english is better than german (shame on me) so i will try to explain. Hallo. Ich bin aus Croatien und am a proud owner of 9240s receiver. Die receiver habe ich gekauft mit schlechten endstufen und das habe ich erneuert. Aber jetz habe keine stereo mode. Wann radio fm ansturms nur recht kanal spielt, links ist ganz leise, alles ok in mono mode. Ja und grunne stereo diode gluhe nicht. Wann aux oder band 1,2 in stereo mode ansturms dann links kanal spielt und die recht ist ganz leise. Wieder in mono mode sind beide kanals ok. Vielen dank fur antworten und entschuldig…
