first thing to mention is that this took place in the ultrasonic cleaner not in an ordinary dish with water in it. So the ultrasonic waves do 99% of the job, the liquid is secondary.
What I used here was 12 litres of destilled water with a sprinkle of washing-up liquid and about 5% isopropanol. The ultrasonic cleaner operated at ca. 55 degrees centigrade for about 20 - 30 minutes.
