Slightly warming with a hair dryer so that the wax becomes soft?

I use to remove the wax which is on top of the adjusting screw with the help of a small screwdriver, which I heated up before slightliy by a lighter.
When the ferrite screw is completely visible, I warm it up with the same hot screwdriver. When it is warm enough, the screw may by turned slowly by an alignment screwdriver - wooden or of plastic, not metal!
