In the meanwhile I have found the problem: 1 of the 4 coils of the motor have a short circuit to ground, so the bad news is I have a challenge to find another motor for this radio.

I am working on a Saba Meersburg Automatic 125. The radio works fine on FM and also on AM. I replaced several paper capacitors in the radio and the sound is very good.
