Although this may be very minor, here are the results of reproducing the missing SABA emblems on my old remote I have inquired about in this thread. http://home.twcny.rr.com/densradios/SabaBadgesRepro.JPG My radio friend from Montreal greatly assisted me in cleaning up the images to reproduce on transparancy sheets in the appropriate shade of blue comparable to that of the earlier Saba remote controls. This color shading info is based only on visual evidence of other early examples of the remote…

Hello again! I have tried the upload....Now to paste here below: Vielen Danke! Yes, I live in a small dairy farm town in the state of New York, USA. Very near Quebec Canada. One of my good "radiobuddies" is from Montreal and visits me regularly. I reduced the data to 500X so the details are not so great. (edit:) Hallo Volker! Vie geht es deinen? (OK, so my "Hochdeutsch" is still not so good.) Funf punkt funf yahren Ich hat im Deutschland gewohnt, (Amerikanisher Schüle für die Kinderen von dem Mi…

I apologize for my considering the above message as a sort of insult to me. There is a bit of difference in styles of writing here that I don't understand yet. I must be overly-sensitive. Thank you for pointing out the method for uploading photos directly to this site. I have tried this a couple of times with no success--yet. I will continue to try this with a repeated review of the instructions in the link. I seem to have no difficulty to open a photo from my own web page, but not able to uploa…

.....It appears as if the method I used does work. Yes, I can speak English, and write it moderately well enough.- Apparently, since I can't type I had forgotten to include the word "model" to make it perfectly clear. Please pardon me, and I'm sorry to have bothered this esteemed and superior forum. I assure you, from this point, this 'Yankee' will go away.

Hello! I am new to this forum and not the most literate with computer processes for photo uploading on this site, but I can gladly direct you to my photo page. http://home.twcny.rr.com/densradios/ This is a page of my hobbies, both past and present, with all radio brands mixed in. (This is not nearly all of the radios!) The photos I uploaded today are of poor quality, but show the idea..... A Saba Freiburg7 and Meersburg7 chassis are shown in the photo titled "Project_6/08."...As I mentioned, th…

Hello Fellows. Thank you for the responses. It is now confirmed for me the RS18 is _only_ for the "Studio" models of Saba, as I had thought. My Continental 410US has also the original "English" RS125 remote unit. Yes, the model 2007 remote appears to be correct for Saba Automatic radios for _use with a remote control_ from 1956/7/8/9 model years... This recently purchased "English" 2007 works fine with my Freiburg7. The mystery continues for my "English" language remote 2007, and for which "expo…

Hallo freinds of Saba! Please excuse my use of English, as my small skills of the German language are with little use in over 45 years. My question is with regards to the remote units in use for the tube (röhren) radio receivers. I have the U.S. export RS125 for my Saba 410 U.S. model. This is common for radios from >1960 I recently acquired an English language printed version of the Saba 2007 (?) for use with the model Freiburg7. I can find no info showing that Saba has exported automatic radio…
